Summeraire ERV

Summeraire ERVs are designed for use in warm, humid climates with heavy air conditioning use. A Summeraire ERV will help reduce the load on the air conditioning by cooling the incoming air with the cooled stale air that's being exhausted.

Summeraire Air Changer

Summeraire Air Changers offer a great way to ventilate a smaller home or an enclosed area such as a crawl space. It provides fresh outdoor air while exhausting stale indoor air. Fresh air is mixed, filtered, and tempered with indoor air prior to distribution. Summeraire Air Changers can be mounted in an attic or basement and requires no condensate drain.

Now there's a way to ensure fresher air inside your home. The American Standard AccuExchange™ Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) removes stale indoor air and replaces it with an equal amount of fresh outdoor air. Plus, it efficiently recovers heat and moisture from the exchanged air. The result is a more comfortable, healthy, energy-efficient home for you and your family.

1. High efficiency crossflow energy transfer core recovers heat and moisture from exhaust air during cold weather. During hot, humid weather, it pre-cools and dehumidifies incoming air.
2. High-performance motor is engineered with permanently lubricated bearings for low maintenance and longer motor life.
3. Slide-out filter is easily accessed for quick and simple cleaning with an ordinary household vacuum cleaner.
4. Cabinet is a sturdy, 20-gauge metal and is powder-painted for a smooth, durable, high-gloss "appliance-like" finish that resists scratches.
5. Flexible mounting allows easy installs in the attic, garage or basement, in virtually any position.
6. Adjustable control provides automatic ventilation round the clock, plus manual control for additional ventilation as desired. Runtime percentage per hour is adjusted by pressing the fan icon on the AccuExchange control.

In the winter, AccuExchange™ removes stale indoor air and transfers some of its heat and moisture to the cold, dry air coming in from the outside. This provides heated and humidified fresh air to your home. In the summer, AccuExchange removes heat and moisture from outdoor air to provide fresh, cooled, dehumidified air to your home.
