Septic & Wells

We Test the Waters So You Can Drink It!

An outdoor well pouring water into a trough with leaves inside. Imagine a world where the water was not safe to drink and the waste that goes down drains just ran out over the ground. Humanity would not survive for long. When homes and business are built in a city, there are municipal water systems and waste treatment plants but when they are built in a rural setting it is the owner’s responsibility to install their own water source and their waste treatment system.

At Terrytown Plumbing, we can help you with installing both a septic and a well. If an owner has never had to go through the process of installing a septic system, it can be quite confusing just to get all of the paper work taken care of. That’s what we are here for, we will take care of all of the paperwork, from the perc test, through State approval to obtaining the County permit.

A perc test will determine the type of septic system based on the soil conditions. Once the paperwork is drawn up from the perc, it is submitted to the State for their approval (if required) and then to the County for approval. The County will then issue the sanitary permit. Once the permit is issued, the system can be installed. A typical system can be installed in one day.

We also install well pumps whether it be a replacement pump or in a new well. Our professionals are able to size the pump based on the amount of water that is available in the well, the size of the family and the quantity of certain types of high water usage appliances in the home. We are very conscious about making the most use of the water that is available. While we do not drill wells, we are affiliated with several professional well drillers in the area.
